CGMP 3/167 Notes:
The medallist George Dupré (1869-1909) is one of those closely involved in
the 19th century renaissance of the medal as an art form. He was descended
from Augustin Dupré, the medallist of the French Revolution. The ringing of
the Angelus bell is a Roman Catholic practice reminding the devout to say
three Hail Marys. Price
