Rev: Hope sits astride plinth on seashore holding anchor, SAN REMO 1888 within laurelled shield below


Condition: Good very fine, surfaces a little dirty; Diameter: 65mm

Notes: Frederick III (1831-1888) married Princess Victoria, daughter of British Queen Victoria. He learnt of his accession to the German throne while convalescing in San Remo, but due to serious illness he ruled for only 99 days before dying.
