Rev: six lines from a Wesleyan hymn, between two laurels, above CENTENARY OF WESLEYAN METHODISM 1839, below GOD BURIES HIS WORKMEN BUT CARRIES ON HIS WORK

 

Condition: Good extremely fine or better, a really nice medal; Diameter: 65mm

Notes: Charles Wesley (1707-1788), preacher, hymn-writer and a founder of methodism. Unlike his elder brother John Wesley, he opposed the methodist split from the Church of England.
