Obv: draped barehead bust of Charles I three-quarters left in high relief, LEYDEN GOTT UND OBRIGKEIT (God and the Sovereign suffer power) CARL I V G G KONIG VON ENGEL SCHOTT UND IRLAND (Charles I by the Grace of God King of England, Scotland and Ireland) around in two circles

 

Rev: a seven-headed monster stands over the King’s head with crown and sceptre lying on the ground, BEY DES POFELS MACHT UND STREIT  (by the mob’s might and strife) around
