Rev: Words taken from O’Donnell’s report to the Spanish parliament (Cortes) on the campaign, in 13 lines within oak and laurel wreath

 

Condition: Very fine, reverse better; Diameter: 54mm

Notes: Leopoldo O’Donnell (1809-1867), Spanish Prime Minister and commander of Spanish forces in the Moroccan campaign of 1859-1860. He was a descendant of the O’Donnells who fled Ireland after the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.
