Notes: The Battle of Jutland was the principal naval battle of the First World War. With heavy losses on both sides, some historians consider it a stalemate, although the German fleet was never a real threat afterwards. This medal was runner-up in a medal competition organized by Sir Arthur Evans for the Royal Numismatic Society.
