The medal was cast in an edition of just 47, shortly before the
sitter’s death. Elisabeth Frink (1930-1993), English sculptor.
Avril Vaughan (1937-2006) was an accomplished sculptor in her own right
as well as a very fine medallist. She even cast a very special limited
edition medal in 2001 for this website’s owner’s marriage! Price
