Rev: a Roman soldier holds aloft a crown as San Sebastian burns behind him

 

 

Condition: Very fine, silver wash faded in parts; Diameter: 40mm

Notes: Thomas Graham, Lord Lynedoch (1748-1843), Scottish general. He was in charge of British forces besieging and blockading San Sebastian on the northern Spanish coast. After some months the city surrendered.
